We advocate for an Insect Focused Approach in Conservation

Why are entomologists still sitting on the conservation sidelines? Join Now

IPSIO aims to establish a regional voice for insect conservation and to develop conservation actions focused on maintaining critical ecosystem services driven by insects such as soil engineering (ants, termites), pollination (bees, flies), aquatic system regulation (dragonflies, water beetles). For end users, IPSIO provides information, tools, and expert analysis to enable insect data to be used directly in local and regional conservation and restoration planning efforts. The IPSIO network is demonstrating the role and importance of insects in conservation and at the same time, driving new interest in insect exploration.
